Fuchs and Vogel just launched a really cool free Xpresso rig for Cinema 4D. It’s called the Screw Generator and is pretty self explanatory. It’s a very simple and easy to use rig which lets you customize high quality screws. It comes with 7 presets and tons of options to modify them. Go get it while it’s hot!

Simon created a nice little rig for a previous job and wanted to give it away to everyone! It’s an Xpresso rig to create a route on a map. You make the map in 2D on a flat map, then click one button and it changes the map into a 3D globe which inherits the animation path. It’s a bit heavy on the machine, so make sure you have a good computer. Also, it’s a bit complicated to understand without watching the tutorial so make sure to watch Simon’s overview. Hope you find some good use from it!

Remco whipped up a great freebie for you guys. It’s 140 C4D 3D Social Media Icons! Yes, that’s right, 140 of them. There are a bunch of options, white, black, metal, transparent, circle and square. I recently found this incredibly rad C4D neon tube alphabet set up and wanted to share it with you. It’s created by a guy on Vimeo named ahmed84k. The download includes the whole alphabet in light up neon tubes. Make sure to give him some love on Behance where you can download the project for free.

This is a follow up of my last skull tearing effect tutorial (bit.ly/1MLn5xt) where I went over tearing a skull apart using cloth. This tutorial goes into more detail on the settings and set up so you can have a tearing cloth or bullet ripping effect. I hope this clears up the process for you guys, sorry for not explaining it fully in the first video!
